Daily inspiration 3: Urban style
Today’s daily inspiration is on street art and urban art. Everyone knows Bansky! He is in my opinion, awesome! But look around and there are so many other good street artists! Some of the things they produce are so simple but so effective and you can’t help but want to put on a hoody, get out you mask, spray paints and go out and draw stuff after dark!
‘Art republics’ definition of street art: Street art is any art developed in public spaces. The term can include traditional graffiti art work, as well as, stencil graffiti, sticker art, wheatpasting and street poster art, video projection, art intervention, guerrilla art, flash mobbing and street installations.
But these artists are really intelligent and some of the art in some of the places is mid blowing!Anyway, here is a small selection of some of my favourite pieces.
Traditional graffiti artists usually use spray paints as their medium, but street artist use a variety of mixed media including the environment to create there art. This is what makes street art so versatile and so inspiring!
